A few weeks ago, I seemed to have met up with my wounded inner child (or at least one of them). She was that pig-tailed fatty who had to wear regular clothes her first day at private school because her jumbo uniforms hadn’t come in yet. I reached out to her and explained that she didn’t have to hate in retaliation to her pain. I gave her permission to feel those feelings – and did we ever feel them! Anyway, I’ve noticed a lot of empowerment as a result of that. She really is a remarkable child—so smart and creative; so lonely.
Thank God I don’t have to feel lonely any more! I can honestly say that one of my favorite past times is being alone. I really like to just sit and be (more amazing progress).
