God is really showing me the difference between intention and motive. Until we get a single eye – integrated and contained thoughts and emotions – there will be negative energies running interference within us.
God is showing me that the “remnant” that God is “saving” is the spark of God that is breathed into all people. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, God is reintegrating Himself. Only the Holy Spirit can penetrate self to reclaim the spirit within us.
Most Christians don’t get past the outer court of the temple. But there are those coming out of the holy of holies to help facilitate the inner sanctification process. Ultimately, the temple will not be compartmentalized. That’s what Jesus’ death and resurrection was all about – to tear the veil – but most people are too busy looking outside themselves to find the truth – not realizing the Kingdom of Heaven is within.
Jesus is Alpha and Omega. For some, He reveals who He is at the alpha stage of development – step three – the decision to turn our lives over to the care of God – the entrance to the wilderness. For others, He reveals Himself at the omega stages – step twelve – the completion of the journey through the wilderness. The omegas are the children of God – the mature leaders – the returned prodigals – those who have traversed the wilderness of their inner worlds and know Jesus as Lord. They will share themselves with the alphas and lead them to completion.
