The hardest thing for me to do is nothing – until action is initiated by God. He has really shown me lately that He is ever-present and ever-moving. The problem is that He’s here, but we’re not. We’re too busy taking profane action that causes us to miss the miracle – and constantly flitting back and forth between regret over the past and fear of the future.
I’m beginning to see that Satan isn’t powerful at all, but is a master of subliminal suggestion and exciting riots. He’s literally driven everyone “insane” if sanity can be defined as soundness of mind or mental clarity. Everyone needs Step Two more than they realize because the apparent split is really just a cosmic mental breakdown. What we have here is a failure to communicate with God – because we’re not here. It’s not even all that mystical – we are just simply distracted by fear, ambition, pride, and the pursuit of pleasure.
I can see that motive is everything. It’s really the difference between the directors. With anti-Christ (ego), it’s all about self – which engenders fear because it’s a lie. With Christ, it’s all about love.
Worship and praise to God are important on the macroscopic level, but the microscopic level is actually greater than the macro. The still, small voice has the most power. The throne of the Kingdom is inside of us – we must seek the Kingdom of Heaven within.
God is lifting hell up to meet heaven. The prodigals are returning.
